Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is an effective way of removing stains and brightening your teeth. Although teeth whitening does not make a complete color change, it does lighten the existing shade of your teeth.

There are various methods of whitening your teeth including power whitening or laser whitening, and professional bleaching. Laser whitening can make the shade of your teeth up to 5 times lighter. It is a bit more expensive than professional bleaching.

The effects of teeth whitening are great and they last up to 3 years. However, this period may vary from person to person. If you smoke, drink, or eat foods that stain the teeth, your teeth whitening will not last that long.
At Albany Dental, you will receive a complete dental check-up. After evaluating the condition and shade of your teeth, our professionals will recommend the whitening method that is best suitable for you.

Emergency Dental Care

Immediate help from professional dentists is necessary at the time of any kind of dental emergency. Neglecting a dental emergency can worsen the condition of your teeth. The most common dental emergencies which require quick medical assistance include:

Toothache

When you experience toothache, you should visit our professional dentists. But, if it’s not possible for you to visit us immediately, you can take pain relief medication which will provide you temporary relief from pain.

Broken Teeth

Broken teeth can be re-attached if the treatment is done within just one hour of breaking. Thus, you should seek emergency dental assistance from our professionals within one hour to get the broken tooth re-attached.

Dislodged Crown or Tooth

A dislodged tooth requires emergency dental care as it cannot be re-affixed after a long time of dislodging. You should save the dislodged tooth in a small container having a mixture of milk and salt and come rushing to us.
In the case of a dislodged crown, you may experience extreme pain. Avoiding the pain may only create additional problems, hence you should immediately pay us a visit.

Lost Fillings

A lost filling can cause you unbearable pain. You should not neglect this pain and you must get in touch with our experts to get rid of the pain you are experiencing.

Although there are temporary solutions to your dental emergencies, you should not avoid seeing a dentist as these problems can become worse in the future. You can book an immediate appointment with Albany Dental for all your dental emergencies.

Invisalign

With Invisalign, getting a smile you always dreamt of is now possible. This procedure makes use of invisible aligners to straighten your teeth. These aligners slowly move your teeth to the predetermined position. The best, suitable alignment of the teeth is decided by the patients. Our professional dentists fix the invisalign to ensure that the patients are comfortable and happy. Invisible aligners are comfortable, clear, and removable so they help transform your smile without causing any inconveniences.

You can easily clean your teeth and maintain good oral hygiene during the treatment period. Also, you can wear these aligners all the time and no one will know you are undergoing a treatment. Another benefit of invisalign is that you don’t have to visit Albany Dental clinic often. You are required to visit our professionals only once in a month or two.

Invisalign is not a treatment for everyone. Some patients with a complex teeth structure will need treatment with the conventional braces. You should get in touch with our expert dentists to know if invisalign is the best option for you to straighten your teeth.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry employs different procedures to improve your smile. Discolored, chipped, broken, and damaged teeth can be corrected with cosmetic dentistry. Not all dentists can assure you great results with cosmetic dentistry procedures. We have professional dentists with abundant experience in cosmetic dentistry who have improved the smiles of many and can help you improve yours as well.

Our dentists are experts in the following cosmetic dentistry procedures:

Whitening

People having discolored teeth can lighten the shade of their teeth and get a beautiful smile with teeth whitening. After one session with our expert dentists, you can have white and stain-free teeth.

Filling

A filling is used to fill gaps and make your teeth look perfect. The filling materials can last for many years.

Reshaping

Crooked teeth can be reshaped to appear in a uniform line. Tooth reshaping can also be used to alter the size, shape, and position of your tooth to make it fit better with the rest of your teeth.

Veneers

This is another procedure used to alter crooked teeth. Our professionals place thin pieces of porcelain in front of your tooth to improve its appearance. This porcelain will be bonded with the tooth using a special tooth cement after buffing the tooth carefully to reduce its thickness. Dental veneers do the same job as bonding but they last longer.

Having a confident smile is important. With cosmetic dentistry at Albany Dental, you can be assured of getting this confident smile. So, set up an appointment with us and we will ensure your smile stays beautiful always.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth can change the structure of your face. Also, you can experience problems in chewing your food properly. Dental implants are metal screws that can be fixed to your jawbone beneath the gums. They offer great stability and eliminate the gaps between your teeth.

People with strong and healthy gums who have a missing tooth can go for dental implants. Our team of professional dentists will ensure that the gaps between your teeth are filled and you don’t have to hide your smile.

A dental implant procedure varies from patient to patient. It includes replacing a single tooth, multiple teeth, or replacing all your teeth. Our professionals will work along with you to create a dental implant plan for your teeth based on your personal needs and the condition of your teeth.

Getting dental implants can save you from those teeth which cause discomfort and pain. Once you get your dental implants fitted from Albany Dental professionals, we will develop a dental implant care plan to ensure your implants feel normal and keep functioning smoothly. To properly maintain your dental implants, good oral hygiene and regular visits to our dentists is essential.
